This former Victorian school conversion in London was originally developed as a modern five-storey family home, with a dark, windowless basement kitchen and limited natural light throughout.
Our client wanted a more modern rustic aesthetic and a reconfigured layout to better suit family life, expanding the property to five en-suite bedrooms. We led the full spatial re-planning, creating new floor plans, lighting schemes and bespoke furniture designs throughout.
A key part of the transformation was relocating the kitchen to the ground floor to maximise daylight, while converting the basement into a cosy cinema room. Using natural materials, an earthy palette and carefully considered architectural changes, we created a warm, timeless home designed to be both functional and deeply personal.
