Founded in 2022 and based in Brighton & Hove, Interia Design is led by close friends and interior designers Shirin and Natascia.
We quickly discovered a shared approach to design — one rooted in listening carefully, asking the right questions and translating our clients’ ideas into considered, well-resolved spaces. We believe the best results come from collaboration, clarity and trust at every stage of the process.
Every project is thoughtfully designed to reflect our clients’ lifestyles, personalities and practical needs — balancing aesthetics with how a space is actually used. Whether we’re reworking a single room or an entire home, our focus is always on creating interiors that feel cohesive and effortless.

Shirin’s Swedish background has shaped her appreciation for Scandinavian design, characterised by clean lines, natural materials and a minimalist approach that balances functionality with beauty.
NATASCIA FILEPPI
Natascia’s Italian heritage has shaped her appreciation for both classic and contemporary design. She has a natural understanding of how to balance timeless elegance with modern influences, celebrating craftsmanship, detail and understated glamour.
ABOUT OUR PROJECTS
Interior design is about far more than creating beautiful spaces. It’s about understanding how people live, translating ideas into practical solutions, and carefully coordinating every element to ensure a project runs smoothly from concept to completion. At Interia Design, we combine creative vision with thoughtful space planning, clear communication and hands-on project management to create homes that are both visually striking and deeply functional.
Our work ranges from simple interior decorating to full home renovations and rebuilds, and everything in between. You can view a selection of our projects on the portfolio page.
Ideally, we like to be involved from the architectural drawings stage, allowing us to collaborate closely with architects and ensure that interior layouts, materials, finishes and architectural details are developed together. This integrated approach helps refine the space from the outset. That said, we also regularly join projects post-planning approval and have extensive experience maximising design potential within existing parameters.
