Founded in 2022 and based in Brighton & Hove, Interia Design is an award-winning interior design studio led by close friends and interior designers Shirin Arefi and Natascia Fileppi.

We quickly discovered a shared approach to design - one rooted in listening carefully, asking the right questions and translating our clients’ ideas into considered, well-resolved spaces. We believe the best results come from collaboration, clarity and trust at every stage of the process.

Every project is thoughtfully designed around our clients’ lifestyles, personalities and practical needs, rather than a particular house style. From individual rooms to complete renovations and new-build homes, we create interiors that feel personal, cohesive and effortless to live in.

Our work ranges from individual room schemes and interior decorating to complete home renovations, extensions and new-build properties across Brighton & Hove, Sussex, London and the South East.

For larger projects, we ideally become involved from the architectural drawing stage, collaborating with architects and contractors to develop interior layouts, materials, finishes, lighting and architectural details as part of the wider design. Early involvement allows the interior and architecture to evolve together and helps important decisions to be considered before construction begins.

We also regularly join projects after planning approval or once building work is underway. Wherever we enter the process, we bring together creative design, thoughtful space planning, clear communication and hands-on interior project management to create homes that are cohesive, functional and deeply personal.
